Project: [Mythology-Almanac Twelve Gods - Chapter MingTang (Part1- 2)]‌

I’ve completed a small beginning segment for ‌Chapter Mingtang‌ (the main storyline). Almanac Twelve Gods will unfold through twelve narrative threads, each depicting a god’s trial: the order of the Celestial Court, the chaos of the mortal realm, and the awakening of each deity within my constructed universe.

‌Chapter Mingtang‌ explores an intensely rational protagonist encountering an outcast girl in the human world, and how they balance logic and emotion.
‌Chapter Azure Dragon takes a unique angle: villagers in a drought-stricken region, after futile prayers to the Azure Dragon’s statue, vent their frustration by toppling it. Unbeknownst to them, the Azure Dragon wanted to send rain but was barred by higher forces—leading to a rage so intense he could only claw at his own knees...
The overarching plot of Almanac Twelve Gods revolves around a human transformed into a calico cat (though my illustrations make it look adorable). Don’t be fooled by appearances—hahaha!

Well, it’s inspired by this extremely cunning stray calico in my neighborhood. For weeks, I kept complaining to my husband: ‘Why can’t the White Tiger keep his lackeys in check?!’ Hahaha—that’s what suddenly made me want to anthropomorphize the Almanac Twelve Gods.

As for the metallic threads in the opening scene? Look closely—they’re a starry sky. After all, Almanac Twelve Gods is deeply tied to astronomy.

A continuation of (Part 1). Though still just a snippet of animation, the female protagonist finally makes her debut! I've attached her character design in the end credits - you'll notice she's dressed in rather masculine attire. But why?

‌To be continued...‌
