Concept design work based on the Borgia family mythology — reimagined through original heraldic elements, historical cues, and narrative symbolism.
This set includes three early-stage compositions:
• A parchment-textured crest concept where ink bleeds into allegiance and ambition.
• A visual callback to Rodrigo Borgia’s rise: lit beneath a ghost-fire-blue palette, paired with a high-vaulted dome and a fractured creed.
• Lucrezia Borgia’s second-marriage costume draft, annotated to show how her robe and scepter borrow from the family’s evolving emblem.
These designs explore how a single heraldic form can refract through time — shifting across generations, garments, and power dynamics. The goal: to make the political personal, and the personal sacred.
Part of a broader independent fiction project bridging visual storytelling and speculative history.
